Hi everyone happy Friday! This week was my first week back in college and my first Writers Week! All this week (Aug 24th-Aug 28th) I did a week of author spotlights and poetry, showcasing some of the most unique authors and writers I’ve met in a while. I had so much fun doing this and I can’t wait to do it again in the future
Why a Writers Weeks?

Well, I wanted a week of just writing and author showcasing. So I thought, why not have a whole week celebrating this?! So Writers Week was born. I want to do at least two to three Writers Weeks on the blog. This was my first one and I had begun college again, so it wasn’t as exciting and engaging. But don’t worry, I learn as I continue to blog. This was just around the lesson to reflect and learn from. And surprisingly, I learned a lot!
What will you be adding to the next Writers Week?

I’m thinking that the next Writers Week will not only host authors but other bloggers. I intend to have more guest blogs and blogs about writing too. And maybe adding in some character interviews (*wink* *wink*). As well as advertising the Writers Week, as more of a winsbooks “week of events.”
Author spotlights from this week:
Poetry:
- Overcoming Writer’s Block: How To Get Words Flowing Again

- Author Spotlight: Davon Ansley

- Five Book Blogs You Should Follow and Interact With

- How You Can Do Mystical Writing?

Wander Writer Blogs:
Well, I hope you all enjoyed this blog and this Writers Week. I truly enjoyed hosting all these authors and building relationships with them. And I can’t wait to meet more of you in the literary/writing community. Stay safe everyone and remember:
Live. Love. Laugh.
