We Are Opening a Store!! (Kinda)

We are Win’s Books LLC, a Black woman-owned business dedicated to advancing authors and connecting creatives. Our journey began with a simple mission: to promote and sell books written by our founder, Winnifred Tataw. As we grew, we branched into content writing and blogging, and soon realized the power of building a supportive community for indie authors.

Hello! I’m so excited to share this dream with you all! So officially, no, we don’t have a store yet! Well we do but it’s only for Winnifred Tataw merch and books, But now we are staring with the online store (revamp)!

What does this mean? It means we’ll be finally selling other indie books and merch outside of the WB and WBP brand!!! Can you believe it?! Over the years we have been asked to sell authors books, and I never felt like it was the right time. But now, I think we are ready. We will only be selling books and works from independent authors and a select indie publishers. We will be officially opening in July 17th 2027. I know that seems like a long way from here but trust me, time it flying fast!

Okay What About a Physical Store?

In early 2020, we committed to expanding our reach, connecting with writers and readers who share our passion. Our vision is to open a storefront that exclusively features indie author books, hosts community events, and showcases local art and crafts. This space will be the second Black woman-owned bookstore in our area, and the only Cameroonian African-owned bookstore locally—a true hub for creativity and connection.

We’re raising funds to cover rent, renovations, and inventory for our new location. With your support, we can create a welcoming space for author events, creative meetups, and the celebration of diverse voices. We invite you to help us shine a spotlight on new and upcoming authors—by donating, sharing our fundraiser, or joining us on this journey to uplift our community.
