Whether it’s responding to comments, participating in book discussions, or organizing online events, I love connecting with you all. This is also when I update our blog with the latest literary news, book reviews, and author interviews.
3. Afternoon: Curating and Cataloging: Afternoons are dedicated to the heart of our business: books! I work on curating our online catalog, ensuring that our selection is diverse and exciting. This involves scouting for indie authors, exploring different genres, and updating our inventory. I also collaborate with our bookish businesses and authors to bring exclusive content and deals to our readers.
4. Evening: Planning and Strategizing: As the day winds down, I shift my focus to planning and strategizing. I analyze website traffic and sales data to see what’s resonating with our audience. This helps in planning future promotions and content. Brainstorming sessions for upcoming projects, like virtual book clubs or author Q&A sessions, also take place during this time.
5. Night: Reflecting and Recharging: Before calling it a day, I reflect on what we’ve accomplished and prepare for tomorrow’s tasks. I take a moment to unwind with a good book, reminding myself of the magic that brought me to Win’s Books in the first place. Reading is not just part of my job; it’s my passion.
