What and when started your love for writing?
I started writing in December 2015 whilst on vacation in AbuDhabi. I had just come out from a Toxic friendship of seven years. I published My seven years of bondage -All that glitters is not gold under my Pen name Koko Danielles. Following on from that I joined for Co- Anthologies all Bestsellers and this prompted me to continue writing. I started writing Poetry in May 2018 whilst sitting in a park in Gidea park and have gone on to self publish three adult Poetry books Journeys of Life Inspiration and Transformation Poetry Vol 1, Vol 2 and Vol 3. Vol 3 is a best seller in four categories and a Hot new Release and was released in May 2020 during Lockdown. A Childs Journey Through Poetry my Children’s series was published in Dec 2019 and is a best seller in eight categories.
Of all of the book genres, what drew you to write about yours?
Poetry is a god-given gift as I was inspired to write whilst sitting in the park. My first poem Chemistry was due to go into a competition at the time. If you could meet one of your book characters who would it be and why? I wouldn’t want to meet the character in my first solo book, however, I would not mind meeting the Boy in the Park in my Children’s series as he was a brave character and he inspired me to write about him.
Who is your favorite book character in your stories to write about?
My favorite characters will be the Love couple on the train in my Vol 2 as they were sitting on the train a young couple and remind us to focus on the present and enjoy the moment in our busy lives.
In their own world and I watched the little girl sitting opposite them as they were in love with each other which is a good thing to see in our world of today. They were able to share their love with others around them on the train.
What makes your book(s) special?
My books are special as they cover current messages affecting the world we live in…
Climate change, Themes of safety, family dynamics to rainbows, seaside, and unicorns. These topics will encourage any reader to be present on their growth journey.
So…what are you working on now?
I am working on a Faith series for Children. I am also working on My Memoirs Biography. I am also working on a Haiku series. I have just completed editing my Children series – A Childs Journey Through Poetry -Vol 2
