Meet the Author
Hope is a native of Cleveland, Ohio and now resides in Atlanta, Georgia. She is a servant, prophet, ambassador, mentor, author, who has a prophetic voice to the nations. She is the CEO of Hope Melton Ministries, and conference host of Diamonds Out of the Rough which is dedicated to bring deliverance to the bound and healing to the broken and lost.
What and when started your love for writing?
I started writing when I was in high school as a pastime. Never really took my writing seriously until about 5 years ago. Now I love to write: it’s a great way I express myself.
Of all of the book genres, what drew you to write about yours?
I wanted to share something I felt could help someone along the way; buy telling my story about my own life.
What is your favorite part of the Holiday season?
The best part about the Holiday season is the expression of giving to others and love. The joys of holiday music and watching great holiday movies. Even though things are a little different this year ; I am enjoying decorating for this holiday season and changing the environment with the smells of cinnamon and beautiful lights.
What is your favorite part to write of a story?
My favorite part of writing a story is where the reader engages in the story. This allows them to take a moment to reflect on what they are reading. The introduction as well to give the reader a little better understanding on what they are about to read.
If you could meet your favorite author who would it be and why?
Now this one is a little challenging because I have a love for so many authors. But to sum this up I would have to say Alice Walker such profound and phenomenal writing.
What makes your book(s)/writing special?
My book is special because not only do I share my own journey. I also share principles to help others along their own journey
So…what are you working on now?
I am currently due to release my new book in January 2021 but, I am currently working on another book.
