  • Child of Tempus Birthday

    Happy Birthday Child of Tempus!

    January 18, 2021 by

Hey everyone! It’s Child of Tempus‘ 2nd Birthday!!! I can’t believe two years have passed since publishing my book. I had NO idea what I was doing but, I’ve been able to learn and grow from so many in the writing and indie author community. And I thank you all! I wasn’t able to do something big this year for Tempus’ terrible two’s but I hope next year I will be (*wink wink*) Since CoT’s release, I have released two other books apart of my YA fantasy series, The Gods’ Scion. CoT even got its book cover revamped, which I totally love! I have been able to grow as a writer from the countless feedback and reviews I’ve received for my book over the years. And though I know CoT isn’t perfect and has its flaws, it’s my baby and will always have a special place in my heart. Child of Tempus laid the groundwork for all my books to come, and I believe things will get better as I continue to write and release new books. Without CoT I wouldn’t have started this blog and had met all of you, so I owe it to CoT for all the… Read more

Hi everyone! Welcome to another Built By Us project! Now this is our 10 B.B.U. project (Yay) and in honor of our first project back in March, DIY Terrariums, were doing back to your roots (git it hehehe) So I decided we’re going to make Plant Potters! Usually, I post what you need to make the project earlier in the week, but this project is different. Since everything but the plants, itself can be found in your house! Most of the things on the list, are things I already had at home. That’s one of my favorite parts of DIY, reusing things for a new purpose. So you’ll need: Okay now that we got all of our materials, let’s get started! 1. drill holes in the bottom of your “pots” 2. add your sand and soil to the pot *the ratio of sand and soil depends on you, the pot, and your plant’s needs. 3. Add in your plants *sidenote, I’ll be using these cute pots for another… Read more

    Writers Week (-ending)

    August 28, 2020 by

Hi everyone happy Friday! This week was my first week back in college and my first Writers Week! All this week (Aug 24th-Aug 28th) I did a week of author spotlights and poetry, showcasing some of the most unique authors and writers I’ve met in a while. I had so much fun doing this and I can’t wait to do it again in the future Why a Writers Weeks? Well, I wanted a week of just writing and author showcasing. So I thought, why not have a whole week celebrating this?! So Writers Week was born. I want to do at least two to three Writers Weeks on the blog. This was my first one and I had begun college again, so it wasn’t as exciting and engaging. But don’t worry, I learn as I continue to blog. This was just around the lesson to reflect and learn from. And surprisingly, I learned a lot! What will you be adding to the next Writers Week? I’m thinking that the next Writers Week will not only host authors but other bloggers. I intend to have more guest blogs and blogs about writing too. And maybe adding in some character interviews (*wink*… Read more
